Update/Edit -- My beh has 100 times the power.

I feel this day is awesome enough to make a post. Nnnnh, Hetalia, Himaruya, why so awesome, why so awesome. . . .

Ah, you know, I only have 7 days left at the school. -scratches head-
. . . I'm not going to miss it much. Hard to believe it's over.
I wanted to assign my 7th graders a 5 page research paper (which is a lot for a 13 year old kid) as an April Fool's Day joke, but my mentor teacher and my teaching partner shot it down. I would have liked to see their reactions. -shrugs-
It's funny for somebody like me to think "lighten up" at other people. Heh.
Later though, we told them all our classes we had a major quiz, when it was just a small little quiz. And in 2nd period we sent a student to go ask one of the science teachers (who also has a student teacher) for odd things, like an umbilical cord. Most of the students didn't even know what it was.
Pffft.
Update: So in 3rd period we started sending them to the office. Asking for an umbilical cord. Because they have no idea what it is, they think it's some kind of computer cord or something. The principal overheard, had the kid sit in his office, said "April Fools" then sent him back to class. Haha, yes.
4th period: We sent another kid to the office asking for the same thing. We asked him if he'd gotten it and he said the secretary laughed and said "April Fools." We asked him what he'd asked for and he said "an umbilical cord, just like you said." And we said "Umbilical cord? We said extension cord." Ahhh, too fun, too fun. The whole class got a good laugh.
On Thursday of last week a kid in my last class of the day left the class all of a sudden, saying "I'll be right back." My teaching partner was lecturing so I followed him to see what he was doing, and found him trying to cut a piece of gum out of his hair with a pair of scissors. Before I could tell him, you know, stop, there are other ways of getting it out, etc, he had torn a big piece of his hair out. He went back into the class with a small bald patch on the side of his head. It was such chaos that I forgot to hand out term grades and got yelled at by the secretary.

. . . . no words, really. -shakes head- None.
